Casey, RBT- Therapist

Casey graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelors in Child Development with an Emphasis in Child Life. Throughout her college career she had many different hands-on opportunities. She volunteered, observed, and shadowed in preschools, early learning centers and even pediatric hospitals. This gave her a broad perspective on different ages, stages of development and diversities of children. Through these experiences there is one group of children that sparked her interest the most, children who are struggling with Autism and similar disorders. She gained most of her experience by facilitating groups of children with Autism in large and small group settings. 

Charbrisha, RBT - Therapist

My name is Charbrisha, Bri for short. I was born and raised in Garland, TX. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I have always had a passion for helping people, especially kids. My senior year in high school I enrolled in the Big Brother Big Sister program to help troubled kids who needed a role model. After graduating from college I started working in the mental health field with elderly population. After doing that I fell into ABA and have loved it since. It's a reward to me knowing I am making a change and impacting the kids and families lives. Working in this field helps look at life in a different light.

Everardo, RBT - Therapist

Everardo (Ever) earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of North Texas in 2017. While at UNT, he conducted research in microbiology. He was previously a Biology lab educator and loved teaching young minds science. He has experience working with special needs children and is familiar with ABA. He hopes to enter a graduate school and do his own research projects.

Evelyn, RBT- Therapist

Evelyn graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in May of 2017 with her Bachelor’s in Psychology, and is currently working on her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before obtaining a position as an RBT at Child’s Path, she worked for at a center in Corpus Christi as an RBT. Although she had never heard of ABA before her first RBT position, she quickly grew a passion for ABA therapy. She is very passionate about working with children with autism and seeing their progress. In her free time, she loves going to the gym. She is also a big animal lover and loves volunteering at animal shelters.

Jazmen, M.A., RBT- Therapist

Jazmen is a recent graduate from The University of Texas at Dallas, who finished her undergrad degree in 3 years with a B.S. in Speech Pathology & Audiology with a minor in Psychology. Jazmen’s passion to work with children emerged from wanting to give underdeveloped communities the opportunity to receive services and resources to help their child grow and reach their highest potential. She has made a positive impact on children’s lives throughout the years by not only being an RBT but by also taking on the role of a youth league basketball coach and hosting social events for children and families at her local hospital. Jazmen is currently enrolled at Ball State University working towards her M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis with a certificate in autism with the next step becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Jazmen also enjoys reading, quality time with family, painting, and spending time with her two dogs, Freud and Freya.

Melissa - Therapist

Melissa graduated from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She began her career as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, working with children from pre-k to high school. Knowing she would end up working with children with autism, as she has always had a special connection with this population, Melissa found her calling to further her career in ABA while working closely with the school district’s BCBA in a pilot program for classes devoted to children with behavioral challenges. . Thrilled to be back home in north Texas, Melissa is excited to expand her knowledge, continue to change the lives of children for the better, and soon pursue her graduate degree.

Breona, RBT- Therapist

Breona graduated from Eastern Michigan University in the winter of 2016 majoring in psychology and sociology. Breona started a career in ABA while still in undergrad. She first became interested in ABA after taking a course in child and youth sociology. Breona moved to Texas to further her education and continue her career in ABA. In her free time she enjoys reading research articles and broadway musicals.

Bobby, RBT - Therapist

I am originally from Southington, Connecticut. After attending Central Connecticut State University, I got my Bachelor's of Psychology in 2013. My initial plan was to work in high schools or on a college campus as a counselor, however, after moving to South Carolina, I found an opening as a line therapist and decided to see what the field of ABA therapy was like. It turned out to be very enjoyable and I chose to stick with ABA as my choice of career. I have worked in home, clinic, and school settings. At the end of 2017 I moved to Texas to start a new chapter of my life, and was rather happy to find The Child's Path, where I hope to continue to progress as a therapist and eventually further my education and career in ABA. In my free time I listen to music, work on improving my drawing skills, read (mostly horror novels), and watch movies.

Eileen, RBT- Therapist

Eileen graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and a minor in Entrepreneurship in May 2017. During her time at the University of North Texas she gained hands on experience taking data collection in a multitude of settings, assisting and shadowing at The Denton State School, and training dogs with The Organization for Reinforcement Contingencies with Animals. Including her hands on experience during her undergrad Eileen has been in the ABA field for 4 years. Eileen plans to further her education in the field of ABA in the coming years. When she’s not at work Eileen likes to read, take her dog to the park, and spend time with friends and family.

Melanie - Therapist

Melanie has over 15 years of experience focused on interaction with children and adults with a range of disabilities. She is a certified Primary and Special Education Teacher and Registered Behavior Technician who has recently moved to Texas from New Jersey. Melanie previously worked for a large non-profit organization in New York City that provided disabled adults from state institutions with a home and around-the-clock care to facilitate their independence. She has experience working with children and adults with ASD, seizure disorders, sensory disorders, Down Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome, and other behavior disorders in public schools and home settings. Melanie is passionate about teaching children the life and self-regulating skills they need to be independent adults. 

Belinda, M.Ed., RBT - Therapist

Belinda graduated with her Bachelor's from University of North Texas in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology in May 2014, and pursued careers in education and social and emotional behavior development. While working in various education programs through AmeriCorps and Easter Seals, Belinda found that she wanted to help people with autism. From there, she went on to further her education in ABA and graduated May 2017 with her Master's of Education in ABA and Autism from Arizona State University. Belinda currently has 2.5 years of experience in ABA and is working on obtaining her credentials towards a BCBA and hopes to eventually to go school for a Master's in Music Therapy as well. Along with her educational goals, she also has a mild (heavy) love of Harry Potter, reading, and music and dreams of opening up a library themed cafe with weekly open mic nights.

Cora, RBT - Therapist
Cora attended the University of North Texas majoring in psychology.  Before employment at Child's Path she worked with adolescent boys diagnosed with autism as a psychiatric nursing assistant at the North Texas State Hospital.  She also has experience working as a milieu therapist for children with feeding and eating disorders at Children's Medical Center.  Most recently she worked as a behavioral therapist in an early intervention clinic providing ABA therapy using the early Denver start model for children ages 0-3.  Cora is very passionate about working with children with a variety of mental illnesses and developmental disabilities.  Working with children with autism has stolen a little piece of her heart.  She is passionate about ABA and loves to see all the progress children make here at the Child’s Path.  In her free time she loves to go to the park with her dog and spend time with her Little, a young girl she mentors through the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program.

Ashley, M.S., RBT- Therapist

Ashley graduated with a Masters of Science in Human Development & Early Childhood Disorders and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, both from the University Of Texas At Dallas. She absolutely loves kids and has enjoyed working with children and their families, in individual and group settings, for about 8 years. She has experience in administering and conducting developmental assessments, both in home and center-based environments, alongside other childcare professionals. She has taught children & adults of all ages, which has helped her build a solid understanding of development and growth. In addition to being multi-lingual, Ashley is excited to further her education with a certification in Applied Behavior Analysis and hopes to open an ABA clinic for children and families whose primary language isn’t English.

Cindy, M.A., RBT- Therapist

Cindy is an RBT with over 6.5 years of ABA experience.  She holds a B.S. in Psychology, an M.A. in Professional Development with an emphasis on Human Behavior/Development and Counseling, and a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior.  Cindy has worked extensively with neurotypical and neuro-atypical children and adults both as part of her academic coursework and also as a therapist/case manager.  For the past 6 plus years, she has worked with children ages 2-12 on the autism spectrum, and often with other co-morbidities.  Working with the youngest clients is her passion and most of her clients have been early intervention cases ages 2 to 5.  She has worked with them in a variety of settings such as home, preschool, private school, and autism clinic.  In addition to her ABA experience, Cindy has also worked with young children as a summer camp director, substitute, and reading assistant.  Cindy enjoys spending time with her son and dogs, reading, watching movies, and traveling.

Kayla, RBT- Therapist
Kayla attended Texas A&M University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. Prior to joining the team at Child's Path, she was an Early Childhood Educator. Kayla is the proud parent of Austin, who was born with a rare form of Down syndrome. Thus, this began their journey of weekly PT, OT and Speech/Feeding Therapy appointments. Austin graduated from feeding therapy many years ago, but Kayla contributes the ABA methods his Speech Language Pathologist used to his success. Moreover, they still utilize ABA principles at home. Kayla is passionate about ABA because it works and can be easily implemented at home. She feels immensely blessed to work with such an amazing team!

Liz, RBT - Therapist

Liz graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. She was involved in 2 labs on campus: the lab of emotion and psychophysiology and the child trauma lab. After graduating, Liz pursued her passion by applying to Child’s Path as an aide and quickly worked her way up to becoming a RBT. Ever since finding her passion, Liz plans to continue building her experiences in ABA and seek career paths further in the field. In her free time, she enjoys reading, relaxing, listening to ABA podcasts, and hanging at home with her 5 dogs and 1 cat.

Alawna, M.S., RBT - Therapist

My name is Alawna. I’m a Texan via Louisiana and Mississippi. I graduated with my BS in Psychology from Jackson State University and my Masters in Child and Adolescent Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have been working in the field of ABA since 2014 and have experience with 1:1 therapy, social skills groups, in-home, and plan to acquire my BCBA credential in the near future. My passion is to help children and families accomplish their goals by dedicating myself and working hard for their cause! My hobbies are singing, reading, traveling, and hanging out with my family!

Tiffany, PhD., RBT - Therapist

Tiffany is a Texas native that attended the University of Houston in Houston, Tx. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and double minored in Sociology and Woman Studies. Tiffany has six years of working in the field of ABA which includes working in clinics, in-home and at schools. She is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in School Psychology at Howard University in Washington, DC. After finishing her doctorate, Tiffany's hope is to continue her education by obtaining her BCBA. She's interested in better serving special education classrooms and helping teachers apply ABA in the school system. She would love to eventually work as a psychologist in a behavioral clinic in an effort to merge ABA and psychology in clinics across the state. 

Affy, M.S., - Therapist

I'm a Fulbright scholar who graduated from University of North Texas with a Master's in Behavior Analysis. I started my career with metrocare services and then joined Child's Path in 2017. My interest in ABA started with my thesis for my master's in my home country. I've always been good with kids and have wanted to have a career where I would have close contact with kids. With ABA, I feel like I've found my passion. My next goal is to further my career in this field.
