Jessi Spencer went to undergrad to become a pediatric nurse. While in college, she was a nanny for a little girl with autism. Jessi fell in love with this little girl and changed her degree to psychology and special education. During this time, she began learning applied behavior analysis (ABA). Upon graduating, she worked as an early interventionist for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI). There, Jessi was responsible for all the cases that involved autism. She provided ABA therapy to all her clients as well as training to other staff members. After three years of working for ECI, Jessi decided to provide private 1:1 in-home ABA therapy. She has been doing this for the past 10 years. During this time, she graduated with her Masters in Autism with an emphasis in ABA. Jessi has touched the lives of over 100 children and currently has seven kids on her recovery list. Her area of expertise is communication and self injurious behaviors for children under five years of age. Jessi truly feels this is her dream and is blessed that she found it at a young age.
